5-DAY SCULPTURE COURSE

In cooperation with the sculpture school Müllheim: The sculpture course takes place in the creative atmosphere in the studios of the sculpture school. They get to know the material stone and how to work and form stone. During the course you will discover your own artistic powers. The examination of pictorial design, working out of joy and devotion become a source of new vitality. Courses provided in german.

Agenda

Daily 09.00-17.00 o'clock with 1.5 hours lunch break in the sculpture school Müllheim

DAY 1: After a welcome coffee in the cafeteria: choose the right type of stone (soapstone, alabaster, sandstone or limestone), the right size and colour and learn how to use the tool (hammer and chisel).
DAY 2: Work, shape and create the work.
DAY 3: Discuss the form, discover the content and work out the form & content in a more targeted way.
DAY 4: Refine the shape and prepare for grinding.
DAY 5: Grind the shape (polishing is possible) - the finished sculpture is impregnated or waxed. Afterwards exhibition with final viewing & aperitif.

Directions: Bildhauerschule Müllheim, Bahnhofstrasse 12, 8555 Müllheim - 8 min. drive or 5.7 km from the hotel to the sculpture school.
