The Pilates Days are suitable for beginners as well as experienced pilates practitioners.

Pilates is a whole-body workout that strengthens the abdominal, back, pelvic floor and leg muscles through specific exercises. It improves flexibility, balance and posture. During the three- to five-day retreat, the exercises aim to align the coordination of body, mind and spirit.

Pilates was named after its creator, Joseph Hubert Pilates. He developed the programme in the 1920s to help injured soldiers. His aim was never to define individual muscles, but to see the human body as a whole unit of health and vitality.

Target audience: All ages, with and without Pilates experience, but an interest in their own body and its functions.

The Pilates Days give 12 classes where the understanding of the body is sharpened in many ways. Breath, three-dimensional movement, organisation of different body units (powerhouse), lightness in strength, healthy training.

Each Pilates lesson contains a theoretical and practical part. The theory is always coordinated with the subsequent exercise practice. Participants receive documentation on the theory parts and instructions for the individual exercise units.


The courses are held in German/Swiss German and for a minimum of 5 participants!

    Yoga and yoga therapy - Spiral dynamics - Fascia
  • 9:00 Breakfast together
  • Afternoon at leisure

    Yoga: Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra
  • 19:00 Dinner together

Saturday:

  • 4th Pilates lesson: GO WITH THE FLOW - When everything flows - & Theory: The spine and its degrees of movement

  • 5th Pilates lesson: PILATES FASCINATION - when the fasciae dance - & theory: fascial guidelines

Sunday:

Angie Klarer

Angie Klarer was born in Basel and has run her own yoga and Pilates studio near Basel since 2008. During the 12 years she has completed many training courses in Yoga (ChiYoga teacher, Ayur Yoga therapist, Dana Aerial Yoga teacher, meditation instructor according to Anna Röcker, Yoga Nidra course instructor according to Anna Röcker) as well as Pilates. All this knowledge would not be valuable if she did not have a wonderful empathy and intuition for how people like to be picked up; only through this combination is she close to the students and always ready to respond to their questions and wishes.

For many years she has been travelling with her students to the beautiful Hotel Golfpanorama. "This place is a source of strength and true inspiration for everyone; that is why the retreat is always fully booked. Now I am happy to offer a yoga week as well".

"It is my deep desire to bring yoga closer to all people, because everyone can attain personal liberation through yoga. The liberation from old patterns, deep fears, as well as physical ailments."

As a yoga therapist I am also available for yoga coaching. (Not included in the price).
