Why a retreat?
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we often have the feeling that we are only functioning and that we not only lose our bearings, but also ourselves.
With the retreat in the wonderful Lake Constance region, you give yourself time to pause, look inwards and consciously get in touch with yourself. And there is space for rest and relaxation to bring body and mind into harmony. Time and space enable you to (re)find clarity, strength and serenity.

What do we do?
For our journey together, we dive into the wonderful world of mindfulness: I guide different perception, mindfulness and meditation exercises and we share your experiences; I give impulses for content and offer opportunities for reflection. In individual conversations there is also room for your personal concerns. And the most important thing: You can take what you have experienced 1:1 into your everyday life.

For whom?
For beginners: to get to know and experience the value of mindfulness. For experienced participants: to stay 'on the ball', to deepen the experience and to anchor the attitude of mindfulness in everyday life.

Other information:

  • The motto for the whole seminar is: nothing must, everything may.
  • We will also be out in nature, so please provide suitable clothing.
  • The morning meditation is optional.
  • In the free periods, individual talks/coachings (not included) can be booked as an option.
  • The retreat will be held in German.

Dr. Monica Boos

As a development catalyst, I live my enthusiasm to make a difference, to inspire people in order to develop their development potential with them. To this end, I can draw on a wealth of experience as an entrepreneur, consultant, corporate executive and start-up founder and use my broad professional and thematic knowledge to make an impact. It is important for me to combine my strong perceptive faculty and analytical ability with a lot of compassion and humanity. My access to mindfulness and meditation has greatly promoted my personal development. For me, mindfulness is more an attitude than a tool.
One of my guiding stars is a quote by Viktor Frankl: To be human is to be conscious and responsible.

Thursday - Arrival

  • Arrive at your leisure, check into your room from 2 p.m.
  • From 15:30: Welcome in the retreat room
  • 16:00 - 18:30: Arrival & introduction to mindfulness
  • 19:00: Get-to-know-you aperitif and dinner together

Friday - Being in the body

  • 7:00 - 7:45: Morning meditation
  • Breakfast
  • 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.: Short Impulse Being in the Body I and practising the Body Scan
  • 16:00 - 18:00: Short impulse Being in the body II and mindful yoga
  • 19:00: Dinner together

Saturday - Observing the mind

  • 7:00 - 7:45: Morning meditation
  • Breakfast
  • 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.: Short Impulse Observing the Mind I and Meditation
  • 16:00 - 18:00: Short impulse Observing the mind II and meditation
  • 19:00: Dinner together

Sunday - Keeping Mindfulness Alive

  • 7:00 - 7:45: Morning meditation

  • 9:30 - 11:00: Short impulse Keeping mindfulness alive and final meditation
